- Working in a collaborative way with the Creative Director, Producer and Actors.
- Working alongside the Makaton signer to create a trilingual experience that promotes inclusivity.
- Implement a process that is inclusive, innovative, and child-friendly, ensuring an immersive and impactful experience for our audience.
- Navigate the project within the scope of Arts Council Wales' guidelines and timelines.
This opportunity marks the second research and development (R&D) phase of our project, funded by the Arts Council Wales. With your ability to weave Welsh and English together to create a truly bilingual experience, we aim to elevate this project to its performance stage, envisioned as the project's third phase., The perfect candidate will possess: - Proven experience in working in immersive theatre, especially tailored for children.
- Adeptness in working through a devised process.
- The ability to smoothly integrate both Welsh and English into a performance to ensure elegance and avoid clunkiness in creating a truly bilingual experience.
- The ability to support performers whose first language may not be Welsh.
- A comprehensive understanding of the nuances and constraints associated with Arts Council funded projects, particularly regarding timelines and deliverables., This role is not just a job but a journey into the heart of children's theatre, offering the chance to make a significant environmental and educational impact.
