Full Job Description

  • You'll be the first point of contact for all sales and distribution queries and be responsible for the skillful and efficient delivery of products form our Quarries and Plants across the region.

  • Taking inbound calls & emails from customers and placing orders

  • Communicating effectively with the Logistics, Commercial & Production teams

  • Proactively tracking orders through to completion

  • Dealing with enquiries and complaints

  • Maintaining a database of customer information

  • Working as part of a team to achieve Key Performance Indicator targets

  • Maintaining high levels of professionalism in a fast paced and demanding environment

  • Full Compliance with Competition Act 1998

    We are currently recruiting for an individual with experience of transport planning, based at Corby, Northamptonshire., Knowledge of the Construction & Transport industries (not essential)

  • Experience in transport planning and can demonstrate knowledge of road haulage

  • A hard-working approach with a can do attitude

  • Ability to manage competing deadlines & anticipate problems and potential solutions

  • Effective communication & exceptional customer service skills

  • Excellent attention to detail & good computer skills
