Title: Settlements Performance Manager

As the Settlements Performance Manager within Business Energy, you will lead the strategic and operational management of gas and electricity settlement performance. You will ensure compliance with all relevant energy codes and regulations while working towards minimising imbalances and estimation in settlements systems. This pivotal role demands strategic insight and strong collaboration across various teams. As part of your role you will:

• Monitor and analyse settlement data to identify discrepancies and establish corrective actions while maintaining compliance with industry codes.


• Develop and execute strategies to minimise long-term unread meters and estimation across the energy portfolio.


• Engage with internal stakeholders and external partners to drive improvements in meter read accuracy and settlements performance.


• Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and attend industry forums to stay updated on settlement-related changes.


• Lead initiatives aimed at reducing costs associated with settlement discrepancies and play a critical role in the transition to Market Wide Half Hourly Settlement.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.


• Exceptional negotiation and communication skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations.
