Full Job Description

Charles Darwin Primary is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, positive, committed, and ambitious Teacher. This is an exciting opportunity to have a significant and real impact on outcomes for children. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and have the determination that all children can succeed., To facilitate and encourage a learning experience which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential
To monitor and support overall progress and development of students as a teacher and therefore contribute to raising standards of student attainment
To offer active support for the School's Policy and Procedures taking into account Teachers' Standards standard 7

An appropriate degree and other qualifications required for the award of QTS.
Qualified Teacher Status (trainees should be on track to achieve QTS before taking up the post).
Experience of teaching the relevant phase in a primary school.
Experience of the monitoring, assessment, recording and reporting of pupils' progress.
Knowledge of the statutory requirements concerning Equal Opportunities, Health & Safety, SEND and Child Protection
