Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Tax Accountant with a strong background in accounting and tax compliance, as well as experience working in a PRACTICE setting. This position will be responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, providing tax planning advice, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.,
- Work in the Advisory Team.
- Interact with and manage clients. Client facing role immediately - meeting with companies over £200 million in revenue, providing and learning tax advice.
- Preparing complex tax returns for FTSE 100 companies in industries such as Technology, Finance, Real Estate
- Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and other entities.
- Provide tax planning advice to clients to help minimise their tax liabilities.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws, regulations, and standards.
- Research and analyse tax issues to provide accurate and timely advice to clients.
- Liaise with tax authorities and other stakeholders to resolve tax-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and provide accurate advice.
- Assist with other accounting and financial tasks as needed.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience - ACCA, ACA, ATT, CTA qualification is preferred, or qualified by experience
- 2 Years+ of experience in accounting and taxation, preferably in UK Public Practice
- Has FULL working rights in the UK and will NOT require sponsorship
- Strong communication skills, adept at engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all level
- Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, standards and compliance requirements
- Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing tax returns and financial statements
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
