Every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower 'W' to be actively engaged in every aspect of her live - this will include accompanying to favoured activities, supporting with daily living skills, administering medication and supporting with personal care, if needed.

It is essential that you hold a full UK, or EU Driving Licence as the people you will be supporting ask that you are able to drive their mobility vehicles.

We have a rare opportunity for a proactive and engaging female support worker to join our team in Penylan - you will be working with a most amazing lady, 'W', a lady in her 60's, with complex needs.

You will need be an active person as 'W' loves, loves, loves to be out walking. She will want you to keep up with her and also help her find new opportunities, so that no two days are the same!

You will need to have the sensitivity and confidence to be able to maintain the boundaries which 'W' needs to help her to feel safe and secure when you are with her.

'W' has very good receptive language skills, and uses Makaton signs to communicate with the people around her - we will train you in this so you are able to chat together with ease., Disability Confident

- Hourly Rate £12.00; sleep nights paid at £45 per night PLUS Company Benefits

- Shift Pattern 10:00-18:00 and 10:00-22:00 with a sleep night, followed by 07:00-10:00, An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required for this role, the cost of which will be incurred by Dimensions.
