Studio Creative Assistant

Dressmezee.com is an established ladies clothing brand for those who want something a little extra, we specialise in sparkles and sequins, giving our girls the most up to date on trend styles. Our rapid growth means we are expanding our team and we are in need of a studio/creative assistant within our exciting and dynamic team. You will work closely with the Marketing Department and the Director assisting in a variety of tasks.

Please note: This role requires creative thinking and understanding of the spectrum of social media platform. We need someone who is passionate about fashion and styling, preferably someone who has completed or studying towards a fashion related degree. Experiencing in creating Instagram style campaigns are preferred.

Tasks Overall:

• Assisting with capturing product shots for the website.


• Assisting with creating content for social media platforms (videos and photographs).


• Help style and plan upcoming photo shoots.


• Prepare for upcoming shoots - identify stock that is going to be photographed, prepare the studio for the shoot, and help pull and prep all items.


• Editing videos for use on social media and the website.


• Editing photos for the website and social media.


• Helping tidy away stock and studio after the photoshoot, including washing.


• Keeping an eye out for any new models that fit the DMZ brand.


• Continuously looking for fresh venues and studio props to keep shoots current.
  
  Passionate about fashion and styling.


• In depth knowledge and frequent user of social media such as Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.


• Creative photography skills using both mobile phones and SLR cameras.


• Experience in using video editing software and apps.


• Ability to keep on top of social media trends.


• Team player.


• Great eye for detail.


• Must be able to multitask.


• Great communication skills are essential.


• Ability to work to brand guidelines and stay true to company objectives.


• Able to work to deadlines and digest constructive criticism.


• Professional in InDesign, Illustrator or Photoshop is desired but NOT essential.


Job Type:

• Full-time, Social Media Creation: 1 year (required).


• Photography: 1 year (required)., Photography: 1 year (required)


• Photo editing: 1 year (preferred)

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday (9am - 4:30pm).


• May be required to travel for photo shoots domestic and abroad., Negotiable based on experience


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From £10.50 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
