Solution Manager (8560)

DeLaval is looking for a Market Solution Manager in the UK/Ireland organization for its core business - Automatic Milking Systems. This demanding and motivating position is an opportunity for all candidates wishing to reconcile their passion for cows and milking technologies. In this position you will join an agile and competent team serving its network of dealers and dairy farmers. The position is hybrid based from our Cardiff office from where you can work actively in the team.
This is a very exciting opportunity for the right person with huge potential in the area to explore. Some national and international travel will be required for meetings and training. This position will report to the Development Manager Capital Goods, Market Area Western Europe (UK, Ireland, Belgium, Netherlands Luxembourg)
Your key deliverables will be:

• In charge of the product life cycle of our Automatic Milking assortment in UK and Ireland,


• Create a full market offering package to the end user with support of your marketing colleagues, for our existing products and the new products to launch


• Act as the product champion for the sales team, and be in close contact with your sales manager colleagues.


• Contribute to sales experience for the large customers (4 robots +) together with your large projects colleague,


• Represent the local market in our DeLaval organization for your product portfolio,


• Co-ordinate and provide feedback on quality experiences to our product development colleagues
  
  Bachelor or Master in Animal or Agricultural Sciences, Marketing or Engineering


• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in marketing and/or sales


• Passionate about cows and technologies, breeding, feeding and technical knowledge is a plus


• Good knowledge of digital tools and digital solutions


• Customer/marketing mindset and the ability to evangelize this perspective within the company



• Self motivated/starter, who takes ownership of the business


• Working through and with people in a cross- functional manner, must be a good team collaborative worker


• Effective priority management skills - able to prioritize between conflicting demands


• Training capabilities, good in communication
