Specialising in river embankment restoration projects, our client is committed to promoting biodiversity, preventing erosion, and creating sustainable ecosystems.

What we need:

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor to oversee river embankment restoration works across the West Midlands region.

What you will do:

  • Supervising and coordinating river embankment restoration projects from inception to completion.


  • Ensuring strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site, including the implementation of risk assessments and safe working practices.


  • Managing project timelines, resources, and budgets effectively to achieve project objectives.


  • Liaising with clients, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery and client satisfaction.


  • Conducting regular site inspections and quality control checks to maintain exceptional standards of workmanship.


  • Providing leadership and guidance to on-site staff, including training and development opportunities.


  • Maintaining accurate records of project activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and relevant documentation.

    Essential: SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification.


  • Previous experience working on green sites, particularly in environmental restoration or conservation projects, is highly advantageous.


  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team.


  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges on-site.


  • Knowledge of environmental regulations and best practices related to river embankment restoration.

    6 month freelance contract
