Full Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for all matters relating to the satisfactory operation and development of all finance and administrative services within the school, supporting the Business Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who would like a career in school finance., Cardiff West Community High School is a vibrant, diverse, and inclusive community school in the West of Cardiff. The school opened in September 2017, and we moved into an all-purpose new school site in April 2019.

    Experience of working in a school and/or knowledge of SIMS/FMS


  • Strong ICT skills


  • Excellent interpersonal skills


  • The ability to work on their own initiative.


  • High standards of organisation and time management skills


  • Wide experience of finance/administrative/data duties in a school setting


  • An ability to be creative, innovative and willingness to contribute ideas with a positive attitude towards addressing the needs of the school.


  • The ability to work efficiently, problem solve, multi-task, prioritise and stay calm under pressure in an environment of changing workload demands and new school challenges., ability to communicate fluently in Welsh.
