Senior Developer (C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC)

As a Senior Developer, you will play a key role in architecting solutions, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications and provide strategic guidance on technology adoption and implementation.,

• Lead the design and development of complex web applications using .NET Core MVC framework.


• Architect scalable and maintainable solutions that adhere to industry best practices and standards.


• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance and support.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and establish project timelines and deliverables.


• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.


• Implement performance optimization strategies to enhance application speed and responsiveness.


• Champion the adoption of emerging technologies and best practices within the development team.


• Utilize version control systems such as Git and TFS for code management and collaboration.


• Document technical specifications and project documentation using Confluence.


• Stay abreast of new developments in web development and recommend innovative solutions to meet business objectives.
  
  Proven experience as a Senior .NET Core MVC Developer with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects.


• Expertise in C#, ASP.NET Core, and MVC architecture


• Extensive experience with client-side frameworks/libraries such as jQuery, Bootstrap


• Knowledge of RESTful APIs, Swagger, Postman


• Proficiency in SQL databases (e.g., SQL Server) and ORM frameworks (e.g., Entity Framework)


• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.


• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.


• Use of version control systems (preferable GIT)


• Previous experience using Azure DevOps, YAML pipeline is a plus


The role will be based at our Warwick office. We operate a hybrid work from home policy with 2 days a week in the office (usually Tuesday/Wednesday).

Salary: Commensurate on the applicants experience and knowledge and discussed during your interview. These are usually held as an initial telephone/teams conversation. A second, face-to-face, interview will then be held for those progressing past the first interview. These are usually held as a Microsoft Teams call.
