School Support Officer

The School Support Officer is the first point of contact for visitors to the school including parents, staff and children. The Officer should be welcoming, personable, helpful and able to represent the school in a professional and friendly manner. In addition, it is essential that the person for this role is organised, able to multitask, work flexibly and has a 'can do' approach to work. The School Support Officer is also required to assist our School Support Officers with various administrative tasks, requiring a good level of communication both oral and written along with good IT skills.

Nant Celyn Primary School was built in 2010 on the outskirts of the popular town of Cwmbran. The school provides a 21st Century learning environment for up to 420 (4-11yrs), 52 FTE Nursery children and houses a Local Authority SNRB for Autism and a Regional SNRB for hearing impairment.

Inclusion and wellbeing are at the heart of the school, providing pastoral and learning support across the whole age and ability range.
