School Minibus Driver

Part Time School Minibus Driver - Bournemouth & Poole areas

Salary: £7 000 - £13 000 per year, depending upon route allocated.

DRIVER ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Transport children with Disabilities or Special Educational Needs (SEN) to and from school.
• To work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the company.
• To quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers / parents, and the key school staff.
• To keep the vehicle clean and tidy.
• To complete daily roadworthy checks and report any concerns.
• To be available for both am and pm on all school days.

DRIVER REQUIREMENTS

• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Be able to drive a company supplied 8 seat minibus (can be driven on a car licence).
• To complete at the company’s expense, the application for a private hire license, unless held already.
• Previous experience would be beneficial, but not essential.
• Keep the provided vehicle secure and at a safe and convenient location.
• Be 25 years of age or above for vehicle insurance purposes.
• Undertake an enhanced criminal record check (DBS), as you will be working with children.
• Have the right to work in the UK.
