Full Job Description
- Processing orders on Sage
- Liaise with customers both via email and on the phone
- Tracking deliveries
- Maintaining communication with customers and informing them of any delays/updates regarding their orders
- Liaise with the despatch team to arrange deliveries
- Liaise with the QIC Trims sales team regarding special orders, delivery dates etc.
- General pricing for customers
- Liaise with the accounts department when customers are over the credit limit/on credit hold to try and achieve a resolution
- Additional administration tasks when required (filing, receiving delivery notes etc)
- Picking and packing of orders during busy periods/when required
- Updating the website once orders are despatched
- Updating product descriptions and stock levels when required
- Some opportunity to get involved in marketing and social media posts
Reporting to the General Manager, the main objective of this role is to process orders and assist customers with enquiries. Day to day tasks will include liaising with customers regarding pricing, the status of orders/deliveries, advising delivery dates and assisting with any other enquiries/queries, as well as processing orders. This role is an 8:30am - 5pm Mon-Fri position. 22 days holiday + bank holidays per year plus bonus.
We are looking for a new member to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have strong customer service skills, and be confident when speaking with customers both on the phone and face to face. They will work well within a small team, and be willing to learn about new products and processes in a fast and efficient manner. Reliability and a positive attitude are a must. Experience with Sage 50 accounts is preferable but not essential.
