Full Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work in our smart home and energy management platform team. You will be responsible for the capture of stakeholder's requirements and translating these into unambiguous, testable user stories; And support the ongoing strategy of the business with technical analysis of upcoming projects to facilitate planning activities.
We design smart connected home products and services, this includes, physical devices installed within the home, the cloud platforms that support data collection and analytics, and the Mobile Apps that allow the user to monitor and control the solution.
You will be working within a multi-disciplined development team.
# To provide business analyst services to cross-functional development teams for the design, development, and support of new and existing products.
# To work closely with the product management team to understand and develop user stories, with input from both internal and external stakeholders.
# To assist developers in understanding and decomposing product and system behaviours.
# To work with project management to support project planning and estimation.

# Experience of working as part of a project team, comfortable engaging proactively with teams across the business
# Experience of the business analyst processes in the engineering lifecycle and commonly used tools (Jira, confluence)
# A professional attitude with good written and verbal communications skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts effectively.

# The ability to manage your time and take ownership of assigned tasks., # A degree in an STEM discipline or equivalent.

The role is home based with occasional travels to Plymouth when requested, the expectation is that you will be required on site no more than 20% of your time.
