Principal Regeneration Project Officer

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the team and help shape the regeneration of the Caerphilly County Borough in its post pandemic recovery.

The successful candidate will be a productive and committed person, adept at sourcing and maximising funding opportunities (such as the Levelling Up Fund, the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, and Welsh Government Programmes) to drive forward economic growth in the County Borough.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a successful career in developing funding bids and project delivery to help meet the Council's ambitions and aspirations and deliver on its town centre regeneration plans, improve opportunities for inward investment and support the implementation of the Council's Economic Recovery plans.

For the role, we ask that you have:

1. A relevant level 6 (Degree) qualification
2. An understanding of regeneration in a South Wales regional context
3. Significant practical experience of project development, management and delivery within an urban regeneration and economic development environment., Disability Confident
