Hours: An average of 4 hours weekly though we are happy to be flexible to allow support for a longer period less regularly (e.g. fortnightly). We would also consider employing someone to support during school holidays only., We are looking for 2 x Personal Assistant to support our fifteen-year-old son who lives with us and his brother in Rhyl
Our son is fun loving and energetic. He has a diagnosis of ASD and a learning disability and would benefit from the support of two Personal Assistants to access his local community. Our son prefers quiet places and loves to walk in the countryside and on the beach as well as playing in the park. We feel this interaction will increase his confidence and safety awareness greatly and give him the opportunity to spend more time outdoors in the fresh air which is what he enjoys most.
We are looking for two kind and patient, understanding persons who are empathic, energetic and firm but fair. They will work together to ensure that our son enjoys the opportunity to explore whilst remaining safe. We look forward to building a rapport with our PA's and will be happy for them to become involved with the planning of activities with our son.
