About the role

Working in our finishing department this role may include all aspects of our finishing process including powder coating, masking & preparing parts for finishing as well as the loading and unloading of the line.

Working hours: Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm. Opportunities for overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Masking, bunging and generally preparing of parts for finishing.

  • Loading and unloading the conveyor finishing line considerately of future operations.

  • Loading, unloading and basic stock management of powder paint.

  • Checking the quality of the paint finish for any defects or deviation from standards.

  • Monitoring the automated paint systems and manual spraying where required.

    This role with require a dynamic individual that will work well under pressure.

  • Previous powder coating experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided.

  • Basic computer literacy is required in order to follow digital work instructions.

    5.8 weeks holiday with additional leave accrued incrementally with long service

  • 4 day working week with possible overtime available on Fridays
