Full Job Description
- Participate in the development of new packaging and material specifications.
- Engage in product development processes and manage costs associated with proposed packaging solutions.
- Develop packaging sizes and structures to ensure efficiency and functionality
- Generate and refine cutter guides for packaging
- Enhance artwork files to align with design and branding guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure packaging meets quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely completion
- Produce detailed illustrations that effectively convey both the form and function of the packaging
- Propose cost-effective packaging construction and engineering ideas
- Create prototypes and samples of packaging for testing and evaluation
- Communicate packaging requirements and specifications to suppliers and manufacturers
- Stay informed on packaging regulations and standards to ensure compliance with local and international requirements
- Identify opportunities for innovation and enhancement in packaging design, materials, and processes
- Implement packaging updates and improvements based on feedback, testing outcomes, and industry trends
Fluent in English, Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus - Minimum of 2~4 years of experience in packaging and regulatory compliance
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is highly desirable
- Proficient with Illustrator and photoshop, CAD
- Knowledge of EU regulations related to packaging
- Excellent computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
