Online Marketplace Assistant

We are looking for an Online Marketplace Assistant to join our friendly team at Furniture Online.

Primarily you will be responsible for the creation and optimisation of product listings across all of our marketplace listings, including Amazon, eBay, ManoMano, Wayfair and our website furnitureonline.co.uk.

Your main objectives will revolve around the daily maintenance of our listings, ensuring they are visible on all channels, accurate and up-to-date.,

• Support a range of e-commerce activities


• Upload / maintain marketplace/website listings and storefronts (Amazon, eBay, ManoMano etc)


• Monitor promotional opportunities on marketplaces


• Write briefs and liaise with third party agencies


• Maintain image archive, including basic image editing tasks


• Social media scheduling


• Various Marketing tasks & activity
  
  You are proficient in Excel, pay close attention to detail and have an excellent understanding of written English.


You are enthusiastic and adaptable with a strong understanding of digital marketing and e-commerce with a desire to take ownership of tasks and drive them through to a successful conclusion.

Ideally you will already have previous experience using CMS systems and be confident in navigating multiple software applications and tools, which will help you manage your day-to-day tasks.

Other requirements:

• Strong understanding of Excel


• GCSE Math and English Grade C or above (or Equivalent)


• Proactive and willingness to learn


• Exceptional communication skills


• Ability to work collaboratively in a small team and independently


• High energy and proactive attitude


• Knowledge of photo editing / Photoshop


• Previous experience in marketplaces such as Amazon, eBay, ManoMano and Wayfair


• Motivated initiative-taker


• Critical thinking skills


• Strong organisational skills


• Enjoy working in a fun, demanding and at times, challenging environment


• Tech savvy with online and computer skills, highly desirable


• Knowledge of SEO desirable


• Content writing desirable, Digital marketing: 1 year (preferred)


• Marketing: 1 year (preferred), Do you have experience of product listing on Amazon, eBay or other market places?


• Do you have experience on photo editing / Photoshop?


• The job is office based in Leicester. Are you ok with this?


Education:

  Furniture Online is a well-established, family run, ecommerce, and logistics business, successfully trading for over 20 years. Our aim is to offer affordable, innovative, and high-quality furniture.


The business boasts a fun, yet hard working environment and has recently embarked upon an exciting period of growth and is currently looking to expand its' team.

Salary starts at £24k per annum depending on experience. This is currently based on 36 hours per week whilst we currently trial a 4-day working week. We have a comprehensive benefits package that includes generous annual leave, plus public holidays, pension scheme, employee assistance program, healthcare cash plan and a profit-based bonus after 1-year successful employment with the company., We are currently operating a trial based 4 day (Mon to Thurs) working week based at our Leicester office with Friday's off.,
