Site Overview
Our site in Newport, Isle of Wight is focused on the delivery of Gurits' Formulated Products which are used in applications in multiple market segments that include Wind, Marine, Industrial and Transportation. In addition we have teams from our Engineering/Laboratory/Technical/Customer Support and Sales functions based within the UK.
Purpose of the Department Function
The purpose of the Marketing and Communications team is to strategically position and promote the organization's brand, products, and services to target audiences, both internally and externally. By leveraging market research, consumer insights, and creative strategies, the team aims to drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty while supporting the achievement of business objectives. Through effective communication channels and messaging tailored to diverse audiences, the team cultivates relationships with customers, partners, and stakeholders, fostering brand reputation and advocacy. Additionally, the team plays a crucial role in ensuring consistent brand representation across all touchpoints, ultimately contributing to the organization's growth, competitiveness, and long-term success.
Description of the Role
In your role as Marketing Communications Specialist for the Americas and EMEA regions, reporting to the Head of Group Marketing and Communications, you will play a crucial role in executing comprehensive communication strategies to promote our brand, products, and services. Creating compelling messages tailored to our target audience, your expertise will drive engagement across our markets.,

• Develop and implement communication plans tailored to the unique needs and preferences for our markets Marine and Industrial


• Create engaging and informative content for various platforms like website, social media, email campaigns, customer success stories, case studies, and marketing collaterals


• Plan and execute trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to showcase our products and services


• Collaborate closely with the team to optimize our online presence, including SEO, social media advertising, and email marketing campaigns


• Collaborate closely with Sales, Product Development, external suppliers, distributors etc. to align communication efforts with overall business goals and objectives


• Monitor and analyze the performance of communication initiatives, using data-driven insights to continually optimize results


• Ensure consistency and adherence to brand guidelines
  
  A track record of min. 5 years of demonstrated expertise in a comparable position (B2B)


• Bachelor's degree in Marketing Communications or a related field


• Proven experience within the composite/ wood panel industry or a related sector


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and creativity in messaging


• Expertise in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, content management systems, and analytics tools


• German and English fluent both orally and in writing


• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Power Point and SharePoint


• Strong project management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


• Hands-on mentality


• Independently thinking and working personality, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization and with staff at remote locations is essential
