Logistics Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Logistics Operative responsible for the day-to-day portering and internal mail services for our client base in Cardiff, Central Square. This position calls for an organised team player, committed to achieving the highest standard of work within a busy corporate environment.

You should be able to coordinate and have the ability to take responsibility for work, administration and the collection of mail and parcels across the logistics team. You should also be capable of working in a fast-paced environment following health and safety regulations whilst staying compliant.

You will be able to work with machinery to scan parcels such as an X-ray machine. Be able to handle, lift and carry large items whilst following Manual Handling policies. Be able to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Ideally, you will have a background in working in a facilities maintenance environment or within waste handling for confidential items as well as having a strong knowledge of numbers by maintaining a high level of accuracy. You will also be called upon to assist the cleaning team with the general upkeep of the building, helping to maintain our high standards of cleanliness. This may include tasks such as sanitising surface areas, maintaining the kitchen points by loading and emptying the dishwashers, cleaning of the toilet areas and emptying of our waste streams, remaining compliant with COSHH regulations.Essential Skills

-Has a Full UK Driving Licence
