Full Job Description

We are hiring a Lead Photographer to work within our in-house studio team. The lead photographer manages the photography team within the studio. They are responsible for monitoring all images produced by the photo team in order to keep standards high and stay in line with the Footasylum tone of voice.

They will manage resource, training and staff progression across eCommerce, social and campaign photography. The role also offers various opportunities to work across a broad spectrum of briefs for internal, seasonal and reactive campaigns and branded campaigns for leading brands such as Nike, Adidas, North Face, Converse, Jordan and many more.

We are the only UK retailer with the ability to create and produce content for global mega brands in-house. Based out of our purpose-built content creation studio at The Sharp Project.

Team

The culture marketing team functions as a part of the larger marketing department and we work extremely closely with creative, ecommerce and the studio team to bring creators and influencers to the table.

Reporting into the Marketing Director, you will have weekly meetings to discuss ongoing workload and goal setting. You will also have the opportunity for quarterly meetings to discuss longer term strategy and goal setting.

Our goal is to create an environment in which you can learn new skills, gain experience in existing ones and improve your knowledge of the consumer continually. You will be supported in your journey and will be pushed to take on new challenges and expand your knowledge.

You'll need to be determined, visually educated and knowledgeable culturally with a passion to learn and develop.

Ideally you will have demonstrable experience of managing a team and its resources through the photographic process with experience of using a variety of tools and software.

An ability to lead shoots predominantly across tier 1 campaigns and tier 2 is a must.

You will need to be unfazed by a busy Studio environment and comfortable working in a fast- paced, ever-changing space and must be able to work to deadlines, have an excellent eye for detail and preferably have prior industry knowledge.
