What are your responsibilities?The preparation of standards and CRMs, including weighing, splitting, pipetting, milling, pelletisation and fusionAnalysis of standards and CRMs using primarily XRF spectrometry and gravimetric techniquesQuality checking of standards and CRMsPacking and shipping of standards and CRMsGeneral office and laboratory dutiesHealth and Safety of self and othersWhat do you need to be successful in this role?Minimum A-level (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline, preferably with a chemistry or physics biasMust be able to follow laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)Be methodical and be cleanliness consciousHave a Structured and logical approachGood problem-solving skillsGood organizational skillsAttention to detail and qualityWork in an accurate and precise mannerBe methodical and be cleanliness consciousGood communication skillsGreat to have?Previous experience of working in a laboratoryCOSHH, SDS and other Health and Safety system experienceWhen you
