Kitchen Assistant (Live Out)

To assist kitchen staff in the preparation of consumable items and to clean all kitchen working areas and equipment.,

• To assist the Head and Sous Chef in the preparation of all consumable items


• To prepare vegetables and salads and our picnic lunches


• To assist in the preparation and serving of breakfast and all other meals


• To maintain standards of food and kitchen hygiene


• To clean all kitchen and food preparation areas and equipment


• To clean outside kitchen areas and dispose of rubbish in line with House requirements.


• To engage and interact with guests in a way that promotes a warm and friendly atmosphere within the Country House Hotel.


• To be aware of and comply with the Society's policy on the Health & Safety At Work Act 1974, The Food Safety Act 1990 (including Allergen Legislation), The Food and Hygiene Regulations and The Fire Regulations


• To undertake any other such tasks as directed by Management or the Head Chef
  
  Previous experience in a similar role is not essential but the right attitude is


• Able to communicate effectively


• Flexibility in working hours, availability at evenings and weekends.


• A desire to learn and develop skills
