Junior Video Editor

Heavy Spoilers is a YouTube channel featuring breakdowns, reviews, recaps, easter egg hunts, and ending explained videos dedicated to pointing out the things you missed in Marvel movies, Netflix TV Shows, DC Stuff and more.

We're seeking an apprentice who is knowledgeable and passionate about popular movies and TV shows and looking for a career in digital media. The position is remote, but we're looking for someone local to facilitate the occasional handoff of hard drives, etc.

Duties Include:

• Editing video and audio using video editing software like Premiere Pro, Final Cut, Adobe Audition and Audacity.


• Creating images for use on Youtube thumbnails and graphics using Photoshop.


• Editing long form videos into Tik Tok and Instagram shorts. A keen eye for finding the most interesting points of a video and building them into something cohesive will be key.


• Editing website articles and publishing them on Wordpress.
  
  Some video editing experience.


• Some photoshop experience.


• Knowledge of nerd culture, movies and TV.
