Full Job Description

  • Assist the Director of IT with programming/coding tasks and software design/development of the front end store, mobile application and other internal software requirements

  • Work closely with the Director of IT and E-Commerce Director to contribute to the development roadmap, contributing technical knowledge and advising on the feasibility of proposed changes

  • Continuously improve coding skills and learn new technologies

  • Research potential new opportunities and solutions for the business

  • Debug and troubleshoot any issues to ensure a seamless customer experience

  • Contribute to implementing and maintaining security in line with best practice and relevant legislation

  • Provide front-line IT support to other members of the team

    We are looking for like-minded individuals who will thrive in an independent, creative role and who want to have a vital part in the management and development of the brands digital channels, We are seeking a detail oriented, highly organised and motivated individual to join our team as a junior developer and IT Support assistant. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about everything computer, IT, website and coding related., Essential technologies:

  • HTML, JS, CSS coding

  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem

  • NPM, Git


  • Desirable technologies:
  • Familiarity with the Shopify ecosystem

  • Liquid (Shopify's templating language)

  • React

  • Entra

  • Azure

  • Cloudflare Workers

  • Mobile app development

  • Problem solving skills, effective verbal and listening communication skills, computer skills including Microsoft Office, effective written communication skills including the ability to prepare reports and procedures and time management skills

  • Impeccable eye for detail and willingness to work to strict deadlines

  • The ability to learn new technologies, write clean and maintainable code, and maintain an existing/legacy codebase

  • An analytical approach to solving problems

  • The ability to communicate IT concepts to non-technical users in clear, comprehensible language

  • Experience in a related role is desirable but not essential

  • A Computer science or web development degree.
