As an IT Support Engineer at Group 1 Automotive you will be welcomed into a friendly team and have the opportunity to work with an exciting brand.

What you will be doing?

Respond to tickets raised on the Group IT Ticketing system and IT Support Telephone Line in a timely fashion, updating notes with all relevant information and when resolved, closing a full and descriptive resolution.

Support group M365 platform and applications in line with user support, administration, and enhance business development.

Supporting bespoke automotive software and applications.

Triage UK infrastructure related support issues, collecting relevant information and carrying out initial testing. Liaise with Infrastructure team to work towards a resolution.

Assist the Infrastructure Team in diagnosing site network issues.

Support the effective operation of the group telephony platform and all related

Assist with the setup and onboarding of new starters joining the group.

Liaising with external and brand support partners.

Ordering replacement equipment from suppliers.

Experience in Windows 10/11 Desktop operating system.

Google Enterprise/Chromebooks.

An understanding of Microsoft cloud based products - Office 365 and Azure in particular.

Knowledge of Network infrastructure, WIFI, Network Switching, VLANs & Routing.

Knowledge of Fortinet Firewalls & security products would be advantageous.

Experience of great customer service practices.

Prior Automotive experience is highly desired.
