In this role, you'll work towards your level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.

A Typical Day in the Job:

  • Provide users with professional first-line, face-to-face and remote hardware/software support whilst utilising FreshService to record issues and document resolutions.


  • Assist the ICT Technicians in various maintenance tasks, including any repairs, upgrades, scripts and more, as directed.


  • Showcase an ongoing engagement with your Skills Coach and complete Apprenticeship learning and development tasks to meet deadlines required to ensure successful completion of the qualification.


  • Help install and configure new hardware and software while ensuring monitoring usage as required.


  • Occasionally assist and provide training and support to staff across the Trust, including in-classroom support when required.


  • Occasionally assist with the general administration of the Trusts and Schools Systems, including emails, backups and the relevant security.


  • Assist with maintaining records, such as work logs, inventories and stock taking.


  • Full training and support will be provided by your workplace mentor and from the Baltic team.

  • Emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours


  • Appropriate attitudes to the use of authority and maintaining discipline.


  • Able to give clear and concise guidance to others


  • Able to keep accurate records


  • Literacy skills to read and understand technical language and instructions


  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.


  • A grade 5/C at GCSE in English and Grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role, You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.

    £13,104.24 per annum

  • Working hours 8AM - 4:30PM

  • Early finish Fridays 4PM
