Are you looking for an IT Apprenticeship? As an IT Apprentice, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our schools' technological infrastructure, working closely with seasoned professionals. This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience, develop vital IT skills, and contribute to our mission of fostering world-class education.
In this role, you'll work towards your level 3 IT Support Apprenticeship, delivered by our expert training team at Baltic Apprenticeships.
A Typical Day in the Job:
- Respond promptly to IT support tickets, providing timely assistance to staff and students with technical issues.
- Diagnose and resolve basic IT problems, including software glitches, connectivity issues, and peripheral malfunctions.
- Assist users in resetting passwords and accessing their accounts securely.
- Configure and set up laptops and desktop computers for new users, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary software
- Install and set up projectors in classrooms and meeting rooms, ensuring optimal functionality for presentations and educational activities.
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Full UK Driving license with access to own vehicle is essential
- IT hobbyist
- A passion for fault-finding
- A grade 5/C at GCSE in English and Grade 4/C in Maths is required for this role, You must have the right to work in the UK, and valid residency status to apply for this apprenticeship.
£15,000 per annum - Working Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, Friday 8am-3.30pm
