Full Job Description

Your role will involve not only working on data projects but also contributing to system development for automation. You will be with software systems or scripts that automate data collection, processing, analysis, and reporting tasks! You'll get hands-on experience building custom software applications and developing scripts using popular programming languages like Python, R, Java, or SQL.

But that's not all - as our IT Apprentice, you'll also play a crucial role in creating PSL projects. You'll have the chance to showcase your creativity by designing page layouts, merging data, and generating PDF files for customer proofing and production enclosing.

Additionally, you'll be responsible for receiving customer data files, where you'll ensure data accuracy and quality by checking content, validating data, structuring data for mail merge, and reporting any anomalies - your attention to detail will be key in ensuring our projects run smoothly.

Functional Skills in English and math (if required), After the successful completion of the apprenticeship,a full time permanent role will be offered., IT skills, Attention to detail, Problem solving skills, Team working, GCSE or equivalent English (Grade 4/C) Desired

£12,480.00 to £22,308.00
Once apprentice has been with the company for six months they are eligible to join our profit related bonus scheme.
Wages explained
Apprentices are paid for their normal working hours and training that's part of their apprenticeship (usually one day per week).
Minimum Wage Rates

  • Monday to Thursday - 9am - 5.30pm with one hour lunch break Friday - 9am - 5pm with half an hour lunch break, You could reduce your training time, or finish your apprenticeship faster, if you have relevant prior learning or experience. This could be relevant:
