IT QA Analyst (Data & BI)

We are pleased to share an opportunity to join Flagship Group's I.T. Team, as an IT QA Analyst (Data & BI). The role is a permanent post, working 37 hours per week: Monday to Friday.

This role is working from our King Street office, in Norwich. The role comes with Agile Working.

In this role as an IT QA Analyst (Data & BI), you will work to improve the quality of data and Business Intelligence delivery, by implementing quality assurance methodologies within the Data & Insight department.

Working closely with the QA manager, you will conduct testing of IT solutions in line with Flagship's Quality Assurance and Testing Strategy, develop appropriate test processes and plans, and work across other teams within IT to develop a strong understanding of project and testing objectives.

The testing you'll perform primarily has a data quality and BI focus and you'll help ensure that each of the attributes of data quality are met.

Also playing a key role in developing and improving controls and the QA framework around our Microsoft Power BI reporting function to deliver greater efficiencies, reduce risk and ensure we provide both outstanding customer service and spend money wisely., Ø Opportunities for development (including apprenticeships, our Academy, and various training options).

Applications are welcomed for the role of IT QA Analyst (Data & BI) from those with previous experience working within the QA function of project and product delivery. You will need to have strong knowledge of data handling and data testing processes and techniques. Also having proficiency with Power BI and SQL.

Whilst not essential, the ideal candidate will have qualifications related to QA such as ISEB / ISTQB.
