Infrastructure Engineer

Join us as we continue to scale! We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our newly formed Platform team. You'll be at the forefront of cutting-edge infrastructure development for a rapidly growing tech product. With a primary focus on proactive infrastructure management, this role offers an exciting opportunity to significantly enhance the scalability and performance of Street as it rapidly grows.

Here's what you can expect to be working on as an Infrastructure Engineer at Street Group

• You'll collaborate with the Platform team to proactively manage and optimise our infrastructure.


• Take the lead with ongoing project work including upgrades, migrations, and the introduction of new services.


• Ensure the performance and scalability of our infrastructure, owning the stability and reliability of our systems.


• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices for infrastructure management and DevOps culture.


• Support teams to conduct major architectural changes and infrastructure upgrades ensuring minimal downtime.


• Drive cost-saving initiatives while ensuring the continued growth and stability of our platform.


• Foster a collaborative environment, working closely with cross-functional teams to diagnose and address issues at scale.
  
  You have strong experience with AWS, Terraform, Git and Docker.


• You have experience with PHP/Laravel tech stack and familiarity with deploying PHP applications.


• You're proficient in Bash scripting and automation.


• You possess a strong track record of managing infrastructure at scale and optimising performance.


• You possess excellent communication skills and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


• You have a proactive mindset with the drive to identify and prioritise the most impactful work.
