Full Job Description

As Homes Editor at TechRadar, you'll work on all strands of the Home section and have a strong content plan to keep them up-to-date and best-in-class. You'll be laser-focused on writing the best content on the web, with the aim of making TR Home the single destination for home technology advice.

You'll become the face of the Homes section on TechRadar, providing an easy contact for PRs to send new products and offer interviews to, be agile with analytical data to find out what the audience wants and is buying, and have relevant articles and buying guides turned around as soon as possible to maximize trends.

You'll use SEO tools and analytics to monitor the performance of a new suite of evergreen content that you'll continue to grow, with a view to maintaining and improving search ranking, record video-based content, attend events when required and be a mentor to the younger members of the team.

  • Fantastic writing skills.

  • Good understanding of SEO.

  • Experience of writing for online.

  • A good knowledge of the home technology industry.

  • Ability to explain complex subjects in a clear and easily-understood fashion.

  • Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent spelling and grammar.

  • Ability to work on own initiative and deliver copy to tight deadlines.

  • Confident reviewer of appliances and smart home gadgets and willing to teach others and develop new tests too.
