High-Performance Computing Engineer

The purpose of this role is to work as part of the HPC Engineering team, working with projects in relation to Aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics and Data Automation? You will work to ensure this business continually develops the next generation of Engineering & Simulation Automation technology required to stay at the top of their field.

Your Role:

• Being a champion of automation, collaboration & innovation.


• Working within a DevOps focused environment.


• Diagnosing, managing and resolving system configuration on systems ensuring high availability.


• Troubleshooting software / system issues on a wide range of HPC and Infrastructure platforms.


• Maximising efficiency and performance of available resources.
  
  Background in High-Performance Computing within the private or University sectors is required.


• Proven experience with Linux is highly advantageous.


• Knowledge of Automation tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet and Chef is desirable.


• Experience of scripting tools such as Python, Go and Bash is desirable.
