General Maintenance Assistant

We are looking for a part or full time Maintenance Assistant who has previously worked in a similar role to join our well established Maintenance Team at Regency House Residential Home for a period of 6 months with a view to a permanent position. You will be responsible for ensuring our care home is well maintained and fit for purpose. You will be required to turn your hand to all maintenance related tasks and liaise with the General Maintenance Manager to support the upkeep of the home.

Your duties will include:

• Participate in all aspects of preventative and corrective maintenance on buildings structure, fittings and grounds.


• Maintain safe working practices when operating hand, power and workshop tools. Reviewing daily work sheets and prioritising tasks accordingly and complete as directed.


• Support on-call rota when necessary for the purposes of emergency maintenance.
