Full Job Description

We share stories about life in the North East through our first class collections and visitor engagement. Ensuring a fantastic visitor experience is our number one priority and this is underpinned by excellence in customer care by always putting the visitor first. We are looking for highly motivated and inspiring Entrance Team Members to welcome visitors to the museum in a positive, friendly manner delivering outstanding customer service within the admissions, retail & catering and car park, while helping to deliver a world class experience in a living, working open air museum.

We recruit based on aptitude, positive attitude and potential, and work to ensure people from all backgrounds have the opportunity to work within the heritage sector. This is prioritised above academic qualifications and we support non-traditional routes into work. We recognise and value transferable skills and diverse experiences as a form of expertise.
