Data Quality Analyst

We are looking for a Data Quality Analyst who will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of data across the organisation. Primary responsibility will be to identify data quality issues and their causes, and implement appropriate solutions.,

• Identify data quality issues and their causes, and implement appropriate solutions.


• Creation and roll out of a Data Quality framework to assess, design, execute and monitor Data Quality controls.


• Ensure Data Quality rules are defined and captured within our data governance tools as appropriate.


• Ensure accurate, regular reports are produced to give visibility to the Data Governance team, Stakeholders and other forums on Data Quality results across critical data, including adherence to standards, processes and reusability.


• Build a Data Quality issue management process to ensure that issues are captured and dealt with efficiently following best practise


• Develop Data Quality management guidelines to facilitate data teams manage the quality of their data in a standard and consistent way


• Stay abreast with current technologies and technical developments
  
  Proven 5+ years experience of working as a Data Analyst, University degree in a numerate subject (e.g. Computer Science or engineering).


• Proven work experience of 5+ years as a Data analyst


• Significant hands on experience working in Data Quality Management and implementation of Data Quality frameworks


• Previous experience in data analysis, data profiling and Data Quality dashboard creation


• Experience defining Data Quality rules, Business Rules and data controls


• Experience working with latest data quality tools or Data Quality solutions.


• Experience writing, executing, scheduling SQL queries to discover and track Data Quality issues and measure improvement over time.


• Experience using analytics and dashboarding tools like Tableau to create and manage appropriate Data Quality dashboards


• A good understanding of a broad range of systems, cloud and on-premises platforms, databases ( database management studios) and how they integrate (ETL, ELT, Messaging, APIs etc.)


• Should have worked and have a good understanding of Python
