Customer account manager with quality

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic customer account manager with quality to join a dynamic and fast-growing company. We are looking for this individual to focus on building and maintaining relationships with our new and existing customer base as well as working with the the quality department by assisting with the QMS.

The successful candidate will be expected to provide great service to our customers internally and externally.,

• Prioritising customer orders


• Liaising with customers on any quality issues


• Stock level monitoring


• Component ordering from suppliers


• Taking day to day customer queries and requests


• Weekly production meetings


• Updating and maintaining spreadsheet for their customer


• Accepting deliveries


• Day to day filing


• Invoicing


• Raising works orders


• Stock allocation


• Internal auditing


• Assisting with projects


• NPI


• Operating procedure creation


• Process mapping


• General office duties
  
  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal & written


• Proficient in all office Microsoft packages


• Knowledge of quality management systems is essential


• SAP knowledge desirable but not essential as training can be provided


• Well-organised and great attention to detail


• History of a continual improvement background is desirable
  
  We are a Northumberland based chemical plant who produce a verity of different paint and coatings products. Currently, we are growing our portfolio and extending the ranges that are produced for our customers and require an additional account manager who possess a quality based skill set and is able to carry out internal auditing along with other quality based tasks.
