Contract Officer

We are currently recruiting for a Contract Officer to assist the Commercial Manager in providing general contract management duties thereby assisting Valleys to Coast to maintain and improve our homes and estates to the highest standards.

The overall purpose of the position is to work closely with the Senior Surveyors and provide contract management advice and contractor performance updates. The post holder will support the operations team with contract administration, attend contract pre commencement and progress meetings, as required and ensure projects start and end on time, to budget and to the required standards.

We are looking for someone who has or is working towards a relevant higher level qualification in Construction, Building or Surveying. You should have a good understanding of various construction contracts, construction and construction costs/rates and contract management. You will be required to hold a full driving licence and have access to transport.
