from multiple disciplines working across a range of learning products. We are all passionate about creating high value learning experiences. Bookboon Learning (an Access Company) publishes eBooks, audio podcasts and live webinars (virtual classrooms) on personal development and workplace skills subjects. We produce content in 15 languages and work with highly experienced authors and subject matter experts. Day-to-day, you will:

  • Commission high calibre authors and subject experts to produce eBooks, podcasts and webinars Host live virtual classrooms including question and answer sessions Ensure a strong pipeline of content that is aligned to product strategy Edit and manage titles through publication and oversee all aspects of delivery Project manage to ensure that content is published on time and to a high standard Provide exceptional author care and contribute to the maintenance and success of our author community Contribute to team projects focussed on best practice and product

    improvement Ensure objectives and KPIs are tracked and met Ensure quality framework is adhered to As a well-rounded Commissioning Editor your Skills and Experiences likely include: Fluent in English and French/German Confident hosting live events on camera Designing and developing content in a range of formats Experience in publishing or commissioning content Initiating and developing relationships with experts and authors Proactively seeking out subject matter experts to address market needs Able to turn ideas into published products Knowledge of publishing processes including contract negotiations, copyright and managing peer reviews Project management experience with the ability to foresee bottlenecks Able to initiate ideas for and support with marketing campaigns and author promotions Active interest in learning and publishing trends Understanding of a product environment Taking a data driven approach to decision making Promoting a positive
