Full Job Description

As an Automation Chapter Lead Engineer, you'll have expert knowledge in technology and engineering best practices in the Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365 CE, BPM tools such as Camunda, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies such as UI Path. Using your knowledge, you'll assist engineers with building features to ensure technical excellence is delivered. You'll set and define standards and best practices, implement improvements to tooling, and monitor platforms across multiple teams to ensure that capabilities are developed in a consistent and coordinated way.

You'll have knowledge of standard development tools, an agile work environment, TDD, BDD, and dev ops practices. You'll also be responsible for application ownership, lifecycle management, technology risk and technical debt management. You'll line manage, nurture, train, and coach engineers within your chapter. You'll engage with business stakeholders to identify where the application of automation technologies can enhance working practices and free colleagues from repetitive tasks to focus on higher-value, more rewarding activities.

Bachelor's or master's in computer science, engineering, is desirable, but equivalent work experience will also be considered.

Experienced in software engineering, emphasis on automated testing, TDD, BDD, and DevOps practices.

Deep knowledge in Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Pages, Power Virtual Agent, Power Automate, Microsoft D365 CE, Camunda and UI Path applications and engineering practices.

Experience of platform licensing and commercial negotiations.

Background in scaled agile software delivery.
