Full Job Description

The successful candidate will provide clinical advice and training on the clinical value of OccupationalHealth (OH) to other members of the multidisciplinary team, and externalagencies / organisations as requested., Supportingthe delivery of a peripatetic Occupational Health (OH) service which requires travel between base location and assignedunits.

The majority clinical activity is delivered face to face in the Service Person (SP)s workplace / military environment or a clinic setting, therefore often requiring travel.

  • Participating in clinical supervision provided by clinical lead and engagein Performance Appraisal Development Review (PADR) development alongside the NationalClinical Care Pathway Manager (NCCPM) and Band 7.

  • Providing specialist, person-centred care which considers safety, privacyand dignity usingadvanced clinicalknowledge.

  • Providing clinical advice and training on the clinical value of OccupationalHealth (OH) to other members of the multidisciplinary team, and externalagencies / organisations as requested.

    Selection Process : The selection at sift stage will be based on your application / CV. At interview, you will be tested against 4 technical skills and give a short will also be interviewed against these technical skills

    Essential
  • Professional / clinical knowledge acquired through training to degree / diploma level.

  • An Occupational Therapist or Registered Nurse with current registration with an appropriate governing and regulatory body ( HCPC or NMC).

  • Current certificate of Hepatitis B, Rubella, measles, and Varicella immunity.

  • Current driving licence. The role is peripatetic and cannot be delivered using public transport.

  • At interview, you will be required to do a shortpresentation. The title of this presentation will be : "The value of work onhealth and recovery".
