Full Job Description

As an Associate Cloud Engineer / Cloud Site Reliability Engineer, you play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and availability of cloud based systems within the organisation. Your focus is on maintaining performance and availability, whilst also driving automation and continuous improvement., Monitoring and Incident Management

  • Monitor system health, identify issues, and respond to incidents promptly.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve incidents.


  • Infrastructure Management
  • Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure in Azure.

  • Deploy and manage infrastructure components, ensuring scalability and reliability.

  • Perform lifecycle management activities to maintain currency and supportability.


  • Automation and Efficiency
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline processes.

  • Implement effective monitoring systems to proactively detect and prevent issues.


  • Reliability Engineering
  • Apply site reliability principles to enhance system resilience.

  • Optimise system performance, reduce toil, and minimise downtime.


  • Collaboration and Communication
  • Work closely with development teams to improve system reliability.

  • Present proposed designs and approaches to other engineers.


  • FinOps
  • Work closely with our FinOps Manager to drive optimisation of our cloud based workloads.

    At least 1 year of experience delivering and managing Azure platforms.

  • Experience using Terraform to deliver and manage cloud resources through infrastructure as code.

  • Proficiency in scripting and coding (Powershell, Bash, or similar).

  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience of using CI/CD tooling and processes such as Azure DevOps Pipelines and Github.

  • [Desirable] Knowledge of containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • [Desirable] AZ-104 Certification
