Full Job Description

The Research & Innovation department is supported by the Thames Valley Comprehensive Local Research Network to support and promote National Portfolio projects through the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR). The Office also supports local research as well as commercial and student research within varied specialties and themes.
This administrative role is to support the day to day running of the Research & Innovation Department. The post holder is expected to work independently and manage their own workload., An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Research Facilitator to join the successful research team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust., If you are an internal applicant there is the option for secondment, all applicants must have the endorsement/support of their line manager prior to application.
PPE requirements: Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust requires all colleagues to wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with our infection prevention and control procedures.

Travel expenses: It is Trust policy that travel expenses for interview will not be reimbursed.
Smoking: All Trust sites are NO SMOKING. Smoking in all areas of the buildings and premises is prohibited.

The successful applicants will join the research governance team in facilitating and delivering high quality research.
The role requires attention to detail, organisational skills, the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and great communication skills.
Previous experience is not essential as training will be given.
