Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Planning, Performance team who support HEIWs Strategic Planning, Performance, Programme Management and Sustainability activities. This role is within a central enabling team and provides a great opportunity for exposure to multiple areas of the organisation and skills development in areas of work that are central to the NHS Wales transformation agenda.

This is a full-time, permanent post, working with the Planning and Performance Business Partner on the delivery of the Integrated Medium-Term Plan (IMTP), which is a collaborative piece of work to identify future priorities for the organisation. The team has far reaching impact across the organisation and the postholder will collaborate with key stakeholders to support the creation of the IMTP and delivering Crisis and Business Continuity Planning.

We are looking for someone with excellent organisation, communications and negotiation skills who enjoys engagement with stakeholders and strategic planning. A continuous improvement mindset would be an asset in this team which actively steers ways of working and seeks to simplify where appropriate to drive efficiency., 1. Support the Planning and Performance Business Partner in the development and day to day management of the Integrated Medium-Term Plan (IMTP) with specific responsibility for delivery of the plan including stakeholder engagement.

2. Work with senior managers, clinicians, and teams to support the development of integrated workforce, financial, digital and activity plans, the completion of the Minimum Data Set (MDS), EQIA and financial returns that will deliver key organisational objectives.

3. Lead specific projects and, provide support for the strategic plans and monitor progress in achieving service and strategic change.

4. Produce reports and updates as required to the Planning and Performance Team and other forums such as Executive Team when commissioned to do so, with a key role in progress reporting of the Integrated Medium-Term Plan.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
