Full Job Description

Based in Exeter we are one of the leading digital development agencies in the South West and working with international and local clients, there's never a dull day. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive team environment. You will work closely with Designers and Marketing Managers to ensure all artwork meets deadlines and branding guidelines., Experienced Artworker: You will be working under a Marketing Manager on a broad range of exciting projects.

Key responsibilities will include:

Marketing:

  • Understanding client requirements


  • Preparing visuals for email and SMS marketing campaigns using an in-built CRM system


  • Proof-reading all artwork both internal/external work


  • Edit and manipulate images using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, optimising for web and email delivery


  • Assist with basic HTML coding for email marketing campaigns (desirable)


  • Design:

  • Occasionally preparing visuals for print and digital media, including simple site plans, floor plans, social media graphics and flyers


  • Edit and manipulate images using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and In-Design, optimising for print delivery


  • Proof-reading all artwork for accuracy before sending to print or publishing online


  • General:

  • Communicate effectively with Designers and Marketing Managers


  • Collaborate with designers to interpret design concepts and translate them into production-ready artwork


  • Work effectively as part of a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously


  • Meet deadlines and maintain a high level of organisation

    Excellent eye for design and a strong sense of aesthetics


  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign


  • Experience with email and/or SMS marketing platforms


  • A basic understanding of HTML (desirable but not essential)


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills


  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team


  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload


  • Time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines


  • A positive and can-do attitude

    3-4 days a week, Tuesday - Thursday (negotiable hours and start/end times)


  • Competitive hourly rate (c.£12-13p/h based on experience)
