Aluminium Window & Door Fabricator

C&S Glaziers are a well-established manufacturing company with over 50 years' trading in the glass / window industry, who specialise in the production of a range of aluminium products. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Fabricator to join our team to fabricate Aluminium windows, doors & curtain walling, with knowledge of Schueco, Reynaers, & Technal systems. As an important part of the team, you will be working from design drawings & cutting lists to cut and fabricate these products. This will involve using automated machinery and hands on assembly work. You will also assist in unloading and checking incoming deliveries.
Experience in fabricating aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling is essential, however experience in PVC windows would be considered as specific training can be given. Experience using mitre saws and CNC machines would be advantageous.
Main Duties and Responsibilities

• Complying with all relevant Company Health, Safety and Environmental policies and appropriate Risk Assessments


• Safely operating various machinery, including automated saw, CNC machine, crimper, copy router, pillar drill, end saw and others.


• Undertaking assembly work of windows and doors utilising hand power tools and other tools


• Handling materials and finished products in line with manual handling procedures


• Packing and loading of finished products and accessories ready for site deliveries and dispatch


• Assisting with unloading and checking of incoming deliveries


• Attending sites to carry out remedial work, if required


• Overtime is required to be worked to meet business demands in busy periods
