Our mission is to give children a healthy start in life, by providing them with the support, knowledge, and nurturing their need to thrive, ensuring a lasting positive impact. We are fully committed to the ongoing professional development of our teams by supporting career progression through our unique career pathway., At Spring Wittering, we are dedicated to supporting the RAF community and civilians in Wittering Village and the surrounding areas. We provide childcare services for children aged 3 months to 5 years, including a breakfast and after-school club. We're open from 7:30 am to 6 pm. Our team are highly passionate, and we prioritise continuous professional development through our charity, Action for Children. We have a GOOD rating, and we strictly adhere to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines. We have an open-door policy where you'll have the opportunity to meet our dedicated team and have any questions you may have answered. Our forest school area offers a multitude of benefits for children, including sensory stimulation, improved communication, enhanced confidence, and opportunities for cooperation. Our after-school sessions are child-led and aim to foster a safe environment where children can take age-appropriate risks. Under the guidance of our forest school leader,
children have the chance to learn about tool and fire safety. Additionally, we offer regular yoga sessions and introduce "Boogie Mites" to promote math and literacy skills through music and movement. Our aim is to provide a nurturing and enriching experience for all children in our care.

In the role of Apprentice you will;

  • Work alongside nursery practitioners, helping to support children's development.

  • Help plan and set up activities for a range of children with support of the team.

  • Develop good relationships with the children and families.

  • Daily updates on our online system (famly) to keep families updated., You will be completing an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship. The expected duration of this course is 18 months.


  • On successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be awarded:
  • Level 3 Early Years Educator apprenticeship

  • Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid OR Level 3 Award Emergency Paediatric First Aid

  • Apprentices will achieve an EYE qualification which has been approved to count towards the EYFS level 3 child: staff ratios
