Full Job Description

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, engineers, and marketing professionals to develop design concepts that meet project objectives and market requirements.

- Create detailed 3D models, renderings, and prototypes of product designs using industry-standard software such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, or similar tools.

- Iterate on designs based on feedback from stakeholders, incorporating improvements and modifications as necessary.

- Conduct research and stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to inform design decisions and ensure product feasibility.

- Work closely with internal teams and clients to ensure designs are manufacturable and meet quality standards.

- Prepare and present design proposals, mock-ups, and prototypes to internal teams and external stakeholders.

- Assist in the development of product documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and assembly instructions.

We are seeking a talented and creative 3D Product Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will require the following:

- Have a passion for product design, excellent technical skills in 3D modelling software, and a keen eye for detail.

- Ability to work flexibly, either solely or as part of a team, excellent interpersonal skills, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong self-organisation skills.

- Positive attitude with focus on problem solving and a willingness to learn and cooperate.

- Be able to communicate effectively at all levels in person, remotely and through written text with internal teams and external partners and clients.

- As a 3D Product Designer, you will be responsible for conceptualising, designing, and developing innovative product solutions that meet the needs of our customers and align with our brand vision., This role would ideally suit an individual educated to level 4 (HNC) in an engineering subject, although this is not necessity, depending on previous experience.

- Experience working with 2D and 3D CAD packages, ideally AutoDesk Inventor.

- Knowledge of sheet metal products and manufacturing.

- Be confident producing manufacturing documentation including technical drawings, BOMs and manufacture instructions.

- Production of 3D renders and visuals for clients and others.

- Knowledge of electrical and electronic systems would be beneficial.

- Strong understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively

- Driving license is preferable but not essential.

Competitive salary from £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience plus Bonus opportunities

- Working Hrs: Mon-Thurs 7.30 - 4.30, Friday: 7.30-12.30, 30 minute lunch break plus 15 minute break am, 15 minute break pm.
